Nvidia has recently introduced two new ultra graphics processing units (GPUs), the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra and the GeForce FX 5700.
The GeForce FX 5950 Ultra is the fastest GPU in the company's history. Manufactured using 0.13 micron process technology at TSMC, this new GPU combines fast clock rates with a 256-bit memory bus.
The GeForce FX 5700 series delivers an enthusiast feature set to enable next-generation gaming for the masses, allowing gamers to enjoy DirectX 9.0-level performance at an affordable price.
Designed to deliver cinematic-quality graphics and studio-quality color, the GeForce FX GPUs offer full 128-bit precision computation and feature the NVIDIA CineFX 2.0 engine with NVIDIA UltraShadow technology, designed to improve the shader power that enables more complex effects, and to accelerate the rendering of lighting and shadows.
